  I otherwise have not edited one jot or tittle of what you are about to witness. It is all real and all for your bemusement:

David: When did this start?
Exhibit X: this is Exhibit X, i need to know, how fix on print , scanner, game port?
Exhibit X: cause i was bought on new windows xp, then the window xp was run on pc, then the print was run then then print is not work, window say "print not have on oparetion

David: It was after this was installed that the USB devices quit working?
Exhibit X: i am check on harware on run, i will tell soon you
Exhibit X: ok now i tell that IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers, that is not work by not open
David: That is a Firewire port, which is not related to USB. May I share your desktop to check some settings?
Exhibit X: okay
David: Please put that disk in

David: Exhibit X, your scanner is being detected normally because Windows XP had software that was compatible. Your other devices may need updated XP drivers, which will need to be acquired from the manufacturers of the devices. You will also need to contact them to get the remaining devices detected and working properly, since we do not support the use of XP on this system.
Exhibit X: the print not have in device manager
Exhibit X: oh, i also, what do scanner, and print on other operation?
David: The printer will need to have updated XP drivers. You will need to contact the maker of the printer to get them.
Exhibit X: what do i need other devices update xp driver, how get order xp or not ?
David: Only the printer and possibly the game controller need XP updates. You get those by calling the people who make those devices.
Exhibit X: ok, i need to know, what phone number is ?
David: The phone numbers should be listed in the instructions you got with each device.
Exhibit X: oh, okay, i try call print and scanner (Unless they've sprouted ears or learned how to answer the telephone, they might have some trouble hearing you!)
